NET NinjaTrader Indicators Installation Instructions
New Era Trader (NET) NinjaTrader (NT) Indicator Pre-Install Setup Prerequisites and Notes
  1. NET NT Indicators work with NinjaTrader 7.0 or higher versions and Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
  2. Optimally, all other non-essential Window applications need not be closed.
  3. These steps can be run again without problem or program confusion.
  4. A "Purchase Code" will need to be requested and emailed back to you as part of NinjaTrader license registration. Expect a quick response but it can take up to a 24 hours.

To install NET NT Indicators on a chart, from start to finish, follow these steps:

Installing the NET NT (Oscillator) Indicator Files

  1. Click here for the NET NT Osc Installer to download or use this link -> http://www.neweratrader.com/images/stories/net/misc/NET-NT-Indicators-Setup.exe.
  2. Save this Zip file to your preferred download directory, for example your 'Desktop' and run or execute it.
  3. If NinjaTrader is not running, start NinjaTrader.
  4. Download this NET Oscillator file to your system (save where you can find it again) and import it with this script command:
    File->Utilities->Import Ninjascript

  5. Next within a NinjaTrader chart locate and add the 'NET Oscillator' indicator else if needed, proceed to Step 2 below.

Use These Instructions If You Need Help Adding the NET Oscillator to NinjaTrader Chart

With the completion of the above steps, your NET NT Indicators are now installed but are not showing on a chart. The following steps add your new NET Indicator to a NinjaTrader chart as you would with any other NinjaTrader indicator.
  1. Open a NinjaTrader chart via File -> New -> Chart.
  2. Select an Instrument (or symbol) such as 'IBM' and press 'OK' on the 'Format Data Series' dialog. (See Sample Setup Pictures 1-3 below.)
  3. Right click in the chart and select 'Indicators' from the popup menu list.
  4. In the Indicators popup, locate and double click 'NET Oscillator' indicator.
  5. Press the 'Apply' button and wait until the background processing has completed.
    (If this step was executed properly the right side of the Indicators screen should now allow Parameter customization.)
  6. Press the 'OK' button.
  7. You're done. You have now added the NET Oscillator indicator to this chart. You can start using and profiting from your new NET Indicators!

Install Failure

  • If your installation fails please note the above step where the failure occurred and what error message ocurred. For example, at Step #1 the system reported 'File cannot be overwritten', copy this diagnostic data and send to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a solution.
  • If your NET NT indicators do not work, please uninstall (see next section) and then reinstall by performing each step above.

Uninstalling NET NT Indicators and Related Files and Folders from your System

The NET NT Uninstaller program removes NET NT Installer files and folders.
  1. If NinjaTrader is running, close NinjaTrader.
  2. Run the Uninstaller program via Start-> All Programs-> New Era Trader -> NET NT Indicators -> Uninstall.

    The NET NT Oscillator script installs LM Client and NET Oscillator assemblies. If the NET OsNT Oscillator has been removed these assemblies can be removed.

    What You Should Now See in NinjaTrader

    • An active NinjaTrader chart should now show the 'NETOscillator' plotting as price is updated.
